Arthur Hayes, a leading figure in the cryptocurrency market and former CEO of BitMEX, has shared a new altcoin price prediction that has caused a stir in the market.
Hayes argued that the price discovery phase continues on the Hyperliquid (HYPE) chart in an environment where traditional trading platforms are closed, and claimed that his target price for HYPE is $150. At the time of writing, HYPE is trading at $31.
Hayes has spoken about HYPE many times in the past, but on the other hand, according to onchain data, he has also sold off this altcoin. HYPE, the token of the decentralized cryptocurrency exchange Hyperliquid, is the 13th largest altcoin with a market capitalization of $8 billion.
According to recent data, Arthur Hayes holds $6.9 million worth of HYPE tokens in his known cryptocurrency wallets. Hayes has similarly made bullish statements about ENA and PENDLE tokens in the past, followed by sell-offs.
