Apology Message from Bloomberg to Binance and CZ!

Today, Bloomberg Businessweek China Edition retracted the false accusations in its cover story, officially apologizing to Binance and its founder Changpeng Zhao.

Accordingly, the Chinese version of Bloomberg admitted that it made a “big mistake” due to the incorrect and unfounded cover headline about Binance in its 250th issue in July 2022 and issued an apology.

Bloomberg Businessweek's apology came after CZ filed a defamation lawsuit following the news.

Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, also responded to the latest apology message published by Bloomberg Businessweek.

In its statement, Binance expressed its satisfaction with the withdrawal and said:

“Today, Bloomberg Businessweek China Edition issued an apology for its inaccurate and inaccurate cover headline regarding Binance in its 250th issue in July 2022.

We are pleased to see that the unfair accusations are withdrawn.

“We will continue to focus on providing the best service and innovation to our users as we strive to set a strong example for ensuring a healthy, sustainable industry.”

The Chinese version of Bloomberg Businessweek published the news titled “Zhao Changpeng's Ponzi Scheme” in its 250th issue on July 6, 2022, and Zhao, the former CEO of Binance, sued the publisher on the grounds that it damaged his reputation and demanded the removal of the article.
