The Injective Protocol (INJ) altcoin, a blockchain developed for finance, hinted at a possible airdrop for users creating an Injective wallet address.
The project explained on its official Twitter account that it might be a good idea to create a mainnet wallet address by connecting existing wallets to a dApp built on Injective or Injective Hub.
The developers said in a statement on Twitter:
“It might be a good idea to create an injective wallet address.
You can create a mainnet wallet address by connecting your existing wallet to a dApp built on Injective or Injective Hub.
Who knows, maybe there's a surprise."
The tweet also indicated that it could come as a surprise to Injective wallet users, prompting speculation among the community that an airdrop might be imminent.
Injective Protocol is known for its innovative and interoperable DeFi applications, including decentralized spot and derivatives exchanges, prediction markets, loan protocols, and the like.
Injective Protocol is backed by the native cryptocurrency asset INJ, which is used for protocol management, staking, developer support and dApp value protection. According to CoinMarketCap data, INJ has a market cap of approximately $500 million and is listed on major exchanges such as Binance.
