The Shibburn monitoring service, which tracks burn transfers of the Shiba Inu dog-themed cryptocurrency, reported that it has noticed an increase in the burn rate of SHIB since yesterday morning.
Shiba Inu Address Count Reaches All-Time High, SHIB Burn Rate Soars
SHIB burn rate continues to rise after nearly 190% growth shown by the community on Wednesday.
Shibburn shows that over the past 24 hours, SHIB burns have increased by 48.54%, with a total of 52,651,272 SHIB coins being transferred from the circulating supply.
Among the many transactions detected by Shibburn in the last 24 hours, the largest carried a total of 10,505,695 SHIBs.
So far, the Shiba Inu army has managed to burn 410,652,489,937,521 SHIBs, while 579,245,659,191,530 Shiba Inu continue to circulate in the market.
SHIB has reached an all-time high in terms of addresses holding this meme cryptocurrency. According to data provided by the IntoTheBlock analytics platform, SHIB currently has 3.51 million wallets.
Last month, the number of wallets holding SHIB increased by a staggering 115% per week, taking the cryptocurrency to a new historic high.
The same source reported that 1.13 trillion SHIB in total transaction volume were carried by whales the other day.
