Citrini Research, which gained attention with its report addressing the potentially disruptive effects of artificial intelligence on the economy, has published its new assessment of the cryptocurrency market. The portfolio allocation shared by the company notably highlights altcoins such as Derive (DRV), Lighter (LIT), Ether.fi (ETHFI), and Aave (AAVE).
Citrini Research, known for its previously published “AI Doomsday Report,” has evaluated the intersection of artificial intelligence agents (Agentic AI) with cryptocurrencies and traditional finance in its new research. The report suggests that blockchain technology could find one of its long-sought tangible use cases thanks to AI-powered financial transactions.
One of the most striking aspects of the research was the basket of 15 different altcoins. The target weights included in the shared table revealed which cryptocurrency projects the company prioritized.

The shared portfolio allocated the highest weighting, at 10 percent, to three different projects. The decentralized derivatives platform Derive (DRV), the trading platform Lighter (LIT), and the liquid restaking protocol Ether.fi (ETHFI) topped the list.
