Ripple shared new data on its payment, custody, stablecoin, and corporate finance activities at its Swell event, which began today. The company reported that it is on track to close 2026 with $900 million in annualized product revenue.

This figure represents the annualized equivalent of product revenue at the end of the year, not Ripple’s total revenue for the year. The company stated that the growth stemmed from improvements in its own products as well as the integration of acquisitions made in 2025 with existing services.

Ripple’s announcement includes more than just revenue targets. Banking approval, the size of RLUSD, and expanding collaborations with traditional financial companies are also highlighted.

Ripple Announces It Has Received Final Approval for National Trust Bank

One of the key developments in the company’s announcement was the approval from the U.S. Office of the Comptroller of Currency (OCC). Ripple announced that it has received final incorporation approval for Ripple National Trust Bank. The entity will operate as a national trust bank subject to federal oversight.

Ripple stated that it operates with more than 85 licenses worldwide and that its financial infrastructure serves over 1,700 institutions and companies.

The market capitalization of the company’s dollar-backed stablecoin, RLUSD, has reached $2.6 billion. According to the announcement, this represents a growth of over 88 percent compared to the beginning of the year.

RLUSD is used in Ripple’s payment, custody, institutional transaction, and treasury management services. The company stated that the stablecoin is available on platforms such as Coinbase, Robinhood, Binance, Kraken, and OKX, and that ongoing collaborations with Cross River and Mastercard are expanding its use in payment transactions.

Ripple announced that the number of customers and partners using multiple of its payment services, custody, stablecoin, core brokerage, and treasury management solutions has tripled this year. This group includes names like BNY, DriveWealth, Robinhood, and Water.org.

The expanded collaboration with BNY aims to tokenize trade finance on the XRP Ledger. As a first step, they are working on an initiative with C2FO for supplier financing.

Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse also stated that financial transactions are shifting towards systems that operate in real time, around the clock. Garlinghouse pointed out that tokenized assets can be used not only for trading but also for financing and collateral purposes.

Payment Networks Approaching the $150 Billion Threshold

Ripple’s payment services provide access to more than 60 payment marketplaces. The company expects the total transaction volume processed by the network since its inception to approach $150 billion by the end of the year.

The statement noted that organizations such as DBS, HSBC, FirstRand Bank, and Standard Chartered utilize Ripple’s payment and custody services. These services include processes such as accepting stablecoins, storing digital assets, and making payments in preferred currencies.

Ripple also reported that it will enable over $16 trillion in transactions across all its products by 2025. This broader figure is separate from the $150 billion total that covers only the Ripple Payments network.

Ripple Prime, the company’s institutional brokerage arm, also plays a significant role in its growth plan. The platform brings together trading, financing, and exchange services for stocks, currencies, futures, fixed income products, and digital assets.

Ripple announced it is expanding support for event-based contracts and perpetual futures trading based on real-world assets. This includes activities in conjunction with trading platforms and organizations such as Jump Trading, Kalshi, Hyperliquid, Virtu, and Rothera.

On the treasury management side, Ripple Treasury reportedly serves more than 1,000 clients in 160 countries. These clients include American Airlines and Trax.

The new “24/7 Returns” service aims to help companies utilize their idle cash outside of banking hours. This structure uses RLUSD, tokenized money market funds on the XRP Ledger, and Ripple’s institutional liquidity infrastructure.

The use cases for XRP Ledger are expanding to wallet infrastructure as well. Privy, part of Stripe, supports payments with XRP, RLUSD, and other digital assets on the network through programmable wallets for different users, including AI agents.
