Bitcoin and altcoins experienced sharp declines after the Senate vote on the Clarity Act stalled. Following this, the US Federal Reserve (FED) raised its benchmark interest rate for the first time in three years. However, despite the series of negative news, BTC showed a relatively limited reaction, maintaining its pre-decision level of $76,000.

While volatile movements continue in altcoins, Luke Nolan, Senior Research Analyst at European-based digital asset manager CoinShares, noted that family offices are beginning to examine the digital asset ecosystem more closely.

CoinShares Analyst: Family Offices Examine Solana and Hyperliquid!

In a recent interview, Nolan stated that his family offices have been specifically researching the Solana ecosystem and the decentralized derivatives exchange Hyperliquid.

Nolan says that the family offices are bullish on Solana, but are still learning about Hyperliquid.

Nolan stated that interest in digital assets is increasing among more conservative institutional capital, such as family offices, but that it may take time for this to translate directly into widespread adoption. According to the analyst, it naturally takes a long time for investors to evaluate a new technology or asset class and understand its risks and use cases.

“Although the interest is very high, it will still take time for those from slower-moving groups. And I think that’s natural. It took them a long time to understand Bitcoin, too.”

The Bitcoin and Solana Example!

At this point, Nolan noted that the process is similar to the phased approach seen in the adoption of Bitcoin and Solana. He stated that it takes time for institutional investors to build trust in new digital assets, and that this process is influenced not only by price movements but also by the development of real use cases within the ecosystem.
