A Whale Reduced Its Short Positions in One Altcoin and Increased Its Long Position in Three Others

According to on-chain data, a massive cryptocurrency whale conducted various transactions across four different altcoins. Here are all the details.

Loracle, one of the whales closely followed in the cryptocurrency market, continues to reduce its short position on HYPE while increasing its long positions in ZEC, TON, and ASTER.

According to data shared by HyperInsight, Loracle reduced its short position on HYPE by approximately $16 million. Following this transaction, the investor now holds approximately 1.30 million HYPE tokens. At current prices, this position, worth approximately $89 million, represents a paper loss exceeding $30 million.

On the other hand, Loracle increased its long positions in ZEC, TON, and ASTER tokens by approximately $6.5 million in total. According to the data, buying in these positions continues, and investors are continuing to increase their exposure to these assets.

The rise in HYPE prices is being supported by increased institutional investor interest. Hyperliquid ETFs have recorded uninterrupted net inflows for the past 13 trading days, attracting a total of $136 million in capital.

On the last trading day, Hyperliquid ETFs saw net inflows of $29.6 million, marking the highest daily inflow to date. Among the ETFs, BHYP saw net inflows of $20.1 million, while THYP saw net inflows of $9.5 million.

Driven by strong demand for ETFs, the HYPE price has shown remarkable performance recently. According to HTX data, HYPE has gained over 70% in value in the last 30 days and is trading at $68.3 at the time of writing.
