Il Capo of Crypto, a well-known analyst in the cryptocurrency market, shared his new assessment of one of the most talked-about altcoins in recent days.
Analysts have noted that the Zcash (ZEC) price has made a good bounce from its support level. According to il Capo, ZEC is currently showing a strong performance compared to the rest of the market.
In addition, the analyst claimed that the altcoin, currently trading around $408, is poised for a surge above $900. He added that this possibility is even stronger if the Bitcoin price makes a jump. He stated that he believes it is critical for the Bitcoin price to rise above $95,000.
ZEC reached its all-time high of $5,941 in 2016, when a significant portion of the coins were still locked, and at the time of writing, it is trading 93% lower than that record.
Privacy-focused ZEC has seen a surge of over 600% in the past year.
