Upbit, South Korea's most popular cryptocurrency exchange, will list Bitcoin Cash (BCH), GAS, GameBuild (GAME2), NEO (NEO), Solana (SOL) and Thundercore (TT).
Upbit is known for being selective in its altcoin listings, but due to a bill that will go into effect in South Korea in July, the cryptocurrency exchange has increased its listings significantly recently.
The bill in question will impose significant restrictions and conditions on the altcoins that cryptocurrency exchanges can list.
Sudden increases occurred in the charts of the listed altcoins immediately after the listing news.
However, since the general cryptocurrency market is mostly in the red zone today, these increases seem to have failed to enable these altcoins to reach their highest intraday prices, at least for now.
