After the fake spot Bitcoin ETF news at the beginning of the week, while everyone was talking about when the ETFs would be approved, the last comment came from Mike Novogratz, CEO of Galaxy Digital.
At this point, Mike Novogratz, who participated in CNBC's Squawk Box program, believes that the SEC will approve a spot Bitcoin ETF in 2023.
Stating that the communication between the SEC and Bitcoin ETF issuers shows that things are moving in the right direction, Novogratz said:
“I think it is very important that the SEC does not appeal the Grayscale decision.
At this point, the question is when the ETF will be approved.
In this context, we think that the Bitcoin ETF will be approved this year in 2023. All indicators point to progress in the right direction.
There is a tremendous amount of pressure to do something sensible. “The American public now wants spot ETFs.”
"We think a #Bitcoin ETF will be approved this year in 2023. All the indications of dealing seem to be heading in the right direction," says @novogratz on #crypto. "There's a tremendous amount of pressure to do something that is rational. The American public wants this." pic.twitter.com/ozY3gOiSyi
