The world's largest crypto exchange Binance started the day with altcoin support statements.
Announcing that it will support Fetch.ai (FET) and Terra Classic (LUNC) network upgrades, Binance made the following statements in its statement:
"Fetch.ai network upgrade will be performed on approximately 23.05.2023 at 13:00 UTC.
Deposits and withdrawals with FET will be suspended from approximately 23.05.2023 at 12:00 UTC.
The Terra Classic network upgrade will take place on approximately 23.05.2023 at 22:00 UTC.
Deposits and withdrawals for LUNC and USTC over the Terra Classic (LUNC) network will be suspended from approximately 23.05.2023 at 21:30 UTC.
Binance will fulfill all relevant technical requirements for all users holding FET, LUNC and USTC in their Binance account.
We will reopen deposits and withdrawals for FET, LUNC, and USTC once we consider the upgraded networks stable, and will not inform users at further notice."
With this announcement, Binance has indicated that it will support the Terra Classic network upgrade to increase the LUNC burn tax from 0.2% to 0.5% in accordance with Proposal 11515 accepted by the Terra community.
LUNC is up about 4% after the Binance announcement and continues to trade at $0.00008875 at the time of writing.
FET, which experienced a 5% increase after the announcement, continues to trade at $0.2452 at the time of writing.
