According to documents obtained by the Wall Street Journal, SpaceX sold 373 million dollars worth of Bitcoin (BTC), which it bought in the 2021 – 2022 period.
At a Bitcoin conference he attended in 2021, Musk announced that SpaceX owns BTC with the following words:
“I have Bitcoin, Tesla owns Bitcoin, SpaceX owns Bitcoin.”
Elon Musk's company, Tesla, had sold some BTC in the past period.
SpaceX is a private company and is not obligated to make its financial transactions public. Therefore, it is not known exactly when the company's BTC sales took place.
