According to Onchain data, Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin transferred a large amount of ETH to a crypto wallet he previously sold in his last transaction.
2,000 ETH ($3.12 million) was transferred from a wallet known to be associated with Buterin to a wallet with the initial address “0x5567” also owned by Buterin. This wallet had transferred a total of 2,700 ETH ($4.77 million) for sale to the Bitstamp exchange over the past month.
It is not yet known whether the Ethereum founder will send the assets in the wallet with the starting address 0x5567 to the Bitstamp exchange for sale, but his past transactions give us important clues.
Buterin also drew backlash with the sale of MKR tokens in the past weeks. After Maker's founder praised the Solana network, the ETH founder made a $500,000 sale on the CowSwap decentralized exchange, and this move was described as an intimidation to Maker.
In addition to these transactions, he transferred $ 1 million of ETH tokens to Coinbase in August.
According to the latest data, Buterin has a total of $ 387 million in ETH tokens in his total wallets. They were once worth over $1 billion.
