As Bitcoin (BTC) and cryptocurrency adoption continues to grow day by day, Coinbase, the largest US cryptocurrency exchange, studied the trends of institutional investors.
At this point, a recent survey by Coinbase revealed that investors remain resilient despite the difficult bear market and optimism about the future of crypto remains strong.
64% of institutional investors surveyed who currently invest in cryptocurrencies said they plan to invest more in cryptocurrencies in the next three years.
Institutional investors who participated in the survey also stated that they do not expect cryptocurrency investments to decrease in the coming years.
250 corporate companies, including hedge funds, venture capital firms, pension funds, foundations and endowments, sovereign wealth funds and asset management companies in the United States, participated in the Coinbase survey, which was conducted between October 19 and November 6, 2023.
33% of those surveyed stated that they increased their cryptocurrency investments in the last 12 months; 17% said they reduced it; 50% stated that their crypto investments did not change.
Approximately 45% of institutions surveyed that do not currently have crypto investments said they are likely to enter the crypto sector and invest in crypto in the next three years.
Also referring to its survey in 2022, Coinbase pointed out that investor sentiment has increased and said that 57% of participants expect cryptocurrency prices to increase in 2024.
Coinbase recently stated that 73% of investors surveyed see blockchain technology as a faster and safer payment method than the traditional banking system.
