According to cryptocurrency onchain data, major crypto whales and organizations have made notable transactions in recent hours.
According to the data, a crypto whale deposited 3,000 Ethereum (ETH) worth $7.53 million on Binance. The whale moved 10,000 ETH worth $24.55 million to the exchange in the last two weeks. The whale wallet had accumulated 13,478 ETH worth $49 million between December 6, 2024 and January 14, 2025, and currently holds 3,478 ETH worth $8.78 million. According to the data, the whale is facing a total loss of $15.66 million.
Digital asset finance company Abraxas Capital, on the other hand, had opened a short position between two wallets in total in Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Hyperliquid and Sui altcoins, according to public onchain data, and at the time of writing this article, it made a profit of $34 million in these positions.
In other altcoin data, a newly created multisig whale wallet was seen recently withdrawing 14.57 million Ethena (ENA) worth a total of $4.41 million via Binance and Bybit.
In addition to all this, popular whale trader James Wynn, who recently announced that he was exiting the futures market completely, opened another $100 million position for Bitcoin with 40x leverage, according to the data.
