Opera, one of the most famous web browsers used by hundreds of millions of people worldwide, has successfully completed the integration of MultiversX (EGLD) on both mobile and desktop platforms.
Web Browser Opera Completes Integration With MultiversX
In the statement made by MultiversX, the following statements were included:
This major achievement aims to simplify the onboarding process and accelerate global adoption, while providing our existing users with an exciting new way to interact with their expanding ecosystem.
The ease and prevalence of browser use is now aligned with the powerful capabilities of the blockchain, allowing users to explore the vast MultiversX ecosystem while enjoying the same intuitive experience as when browsing the web.
The integration combines all the functions of our network with the comprehensive Opera browsers. It serves as an entry point to the MultiversX blockchain and our Web3 products, allowing users to interact with EGLD, ESDT tokens, NFTs and easily manage transfers, transactions and transaction history.
Additionally, users can interact with ecosystem dApps directly from their browsers and generate additional MultiversX addresses using the same recovery phrase, thus expanding their options for managing multiple wallets.
“We are excited to be at the forefront of this important change with Opera,” said Beniamin Mincu, CEO of MultiversX.
Our collaboration with Opera will continue to foster innovation and have a significant impact in the digital world. This integration makes blockchain-powered technology more accessible and fosters global adoption of Web3.
