Italian motorcycle designer and manufacturer Ducati has announced that it has launched its first NFT collection and has partnered with XRP Ledger for the NFT launch.
The collection will be hosted on the XRP Ledger.
The Ducati and Ripple partnership was first announced in July 2022, but the NFT launch had been pending until today. It is not yet known whether the launch now has anything to do with the victory in the Ripple case.
The first free NFT collection, to be released on July 26, will feature Ducati logos used on motorcycles manufactured since 1946.
Users who want to receive free NFT from launch will need to register within 7 days from the launch date. Users who buy trotters from the first collection will also have access to subsequent projects.
Ducati has partnered with Web3 Pro, which also has a relationship with Lamborghini, another Italian brand that owns Ducati.
Ducati was acquired by the German automaker Audi through the Italian subsidiary Lamborghini. Motorcycles are handmade. All these companies belong to the Volkswagen Group.
