Vitalik Buterin Says “I Don’t Sell ETH for Personal Spending” and Now It is Revealed How Much His Ethereum Wallet Diminished in 3 Years

The wealth of Ethereum (ETH) founder Vitalik Buterin, who once held the title of billionaire, continues to be talked about by cryptocurrency followers.

When the details are examined, it is seen that Vitalik Buterin wrote a comment about his wealth from his official account under a Youtube video about 3 years ago. Buterin stated in the comment that he has 325,000 ETH, adding that these assets constitute 90% of his entire wealth.

At the time, the Ethereum price was hovering around $4,500, and 325,000 ETH was worth approximately $1.46 billion.

When we come to the present day, we see that there are a total of 240,000 ETH in the wallets where Vitalik Buterin has assets. Their current value is approximately $592 million. In other words, Buterin has reduced his Ethereum assets by 85,000 ETH, or $209 million, in 3 years.

Buterin had previously stated that he never sold ETH for his personal expenses and that he devoted all of his ETH sales to donations.

In addition, Vitalik Buterin’s public crypto wallets are also being sent large amounts of tokens, especially by memecoin developers, in an attempt to gain traction. In the previous bull market, Buterin received criticism for donating a large amount of SHIB tokens to a hospital in India.
