Vitalik Buterin, Founder of Ethereum, Offers Solutions to the Recession in the Bitcoin Ecosystem!

Vitalik Buterin, the founder of Ethereum, expressed his support for the Ordinals and the BRC-20 token standard.

In particular, he argued that BRC20 will open a new door for Bitcoin and that it is much more usable with this development.

Vitalik Buterin Advocates for Ordinals and Layer-2 Solutions in Response to Stagnant Policies in the Bitcoin Ecosystem

Buterin thinks these initiatives bring a renewed sense of action and are positive for the crypto community.

In his statement, Buterin drew attention to the importance of Ordinals and said:

“Ordinals are really starting to bring back the culture of doing things. I feel like there's a real pushback to laser eye movement, which is a good thing.”

Often associated with the display of laser eyes on social media profile pictures to show support for Bitcoin, the laser eye movement has garnered attention within the community as a symbol of commitment.

Buterin believes that this movement may have become too dominant, hindering progress and stifling innovation. Because Buterin argues that Bitcoin can develop with concrete steps such as BRC20.

Buterin also suggested a constructive approach for the future development of the Bitcoin ecosystem. He advocated a focus on implementing various layer-2 solutions, such as sidechains and off-chain protocols, to address scalability and throughput challenges.

Buterin also highlighted the importance of making the Bitcoin base layer more efficient, potentially through technological advancements and optimizations.

The concept of Ordinals, which encompasses an alternative token standard known as BRC-20, represents a departure from Bitcoin's traditional political landscape.

This innovative approach aims to foster a culture of action and innovation by encouraging developers and participants to actively contribute to the progress of the ecosystem.
