According to the announcement made by the foundation, Uniswap Agora will also provide financial grant support to individuals and institutions for the development of the DeFi exchange. Delegates who will be present at Agora will have the opportunity to have a say in how the Uniswap project should be managed. It is aimed to ensure sustainable community interaction by connecting users with similar ideas and orientations.
Uniswap Foundation also emphasized that a delegate competition will start on the Agora right after the launch. According to the announcement, UNI token holders will elect delegates to represent them in two stages.
In the first phase, which will last until 12 May, delegates are expected to create their accounts on Agora. In the second part, which will start on May 13, delegates will be selected.
Agora Did Not Affect UNI Price
After the Uniswap Foundation's new platform announcement, there was no extra movement in the local token UNI price. $UNI is currently trading at $5.37.
