Trump Media has seen a noticeable movement in its Bitcoin holdings. Following recent purchases, the company reorganized its reserves by transferring approximately 2,000 Bitcoin between different wallets. According to on-chain data, the current market value of this amount is approximately $174 million.
According to data tracked by Arkham, approximately $12 million of the transfers were routed through Coinbase Prime Custody. The remaining Bitcoins are held in other wallets believed to be linked to the company.
This situation is being viewed as a “restructuring” step within the scope of custody and treasury management, rather than sending assets to be sold on the stock exchange.
Coinbase Prime Custody is known as a custody service for institutional investors. Therefore, it is stated that these transfers may have been made for reasons such as cold wallet reorganization, security consolidation, or operational adjustments. Experts emphasize that such movements do not necessarily mean selling.
These transfers occurred just one day after Lookonchain reported that the company had recently purchased an additional 451 BTC, indicating that Trump Media is actively managing its Bitcoin position. The company’s total BTC holdings are reportedly now at 11,542.
On the market side, this movement did not have a significant impact on the Bitcoin price. The leading cryptocurrency traded between $86,000 and $87,000 in the last 24 hours, while investors are closely watching whether the psychological levels above $90,000 will be retested.
On the other hand, Trump Media shares have also been performing strongly in recent days. According to Google Finance data, the company’s shares have gained over 30% in the last five trading days, trading at around $14. This rise reflects the increasing interest in the company’s strategies beyond its social media platform, Truth Social, into financial products and digital assets.
Analysts point out that the increasing use of Bitcoin by corporate companies in balance sheet management is a significant indicator of the maturity of the cryptocurrency markets.
