Toyota, one of the world's largest automobile companies, is exploring the potential of incorporating Ethereum blockchain technology into its vehicles.
According to the statement, Toyota, which plans to integrate the Ethereum blockchain into its vehicles, plans to design a 'Movement Oriented Account' (MOA) using the ERC-4337 standard.
At this point, Toyota Blockchain Lab proposes to develop an MOA (Mobility Oriented Account) based on Ethereum ERC-4337 to ensure that the account can be maintained even if the private key is lost.
Accordingly, it was stated that the purpose of developing the 'Motion Oriented Calculation' (MOA) tool using the ERC-4337 standard is to move towards fully autonomous driving in the future.
“…..We call such an account on the Blockchain a “MOA” (Mobility-Oriented Account). Based on the currently mainstream Account Abstraction standard ERC-4337 in Ethereum, we are exploring how to design MOA.”
Additionally, Toyota Blockchain Lab also stated that they look forward to receiving more new proposals from the Ethereum community (including EIP-7702).
