Accordingly, MakerDAO founder Rune Christensen announced an airdrop for the Spark Protocol token.
Spark Protocol is a lending protocol offered by MakerDAO that provides DeFi loans by providing liquidity directly from Maker.
The MakerDAO founder said in a statement that the Spark Protocol is offering to distribute the token to users through a 10-year airdrop program of the CMB.
The MakerDAO founder's proposal includes the creation of a governance token for the Spark Protocol and the distribution of the token to the users as a reward.
Rune Christensen said that this airdrop offer aims to encourage long-term interaction with the Spark platform and encourage continued use of the protocol, in line with this offer, 2 billion Spark (SPK) tokens will be distributed.
It is expected that Spark Protocol will become a subDAO by the end of this proposal.
