Coin98 Announces That It Aims to Reach a More Customer Base by Rebranding as Ninety Eight
The company, known for its range of decentralized financial (DeFi) products and services such as the Coin98 wallet, Coin98 Exchange and Coin98 Ventures platform, believes this change reflects an expanded vision and product scope. Coin98 boasts of having 1 million users using the Coin98 Wallet.
The rebranding decision represents an important step in the company's development journey. “This change will help us reach and serve a broader customer base,” the company said.
Following the announcement of the rebranding, there was a noticeable impact on the market. The price of the C98 altcoin associated with Coin98 Finance experienced a surge, increasing by approximately 7%. However, it has since corrected slightly and is currently down 1.29% in the last 24 hours. The token is trading at $0.18 at the time of writing this article and has a market value of $115 million.
Coin98 founder and CEO Vinh The Nguyen also announced the rebranding in his statement on Twitter. The CEO is on Forbes' list of Asia's 30 under 30 entrepreneurs.
