Decentralized video distribution network Theta (THETA) has partnered with Google Cloud to present their innovative collaboration, “Model Pipeline for Video-to-Text Applications,” at the Google Cloud Next conference in San Francisco today.
The project aims to demonstrate how Theta's edge network can support Google Cloud's powerful cloud infrastructure, enabling new AI use cases in video, media and entertainment.
The presentation by Brice Perez, Google Cloud's Web3 customer engineer, will explain how the model pipeline works using multiple deep-learning models in tandem.
The model pipeline can perform tasks such as video transcription, translation, summarization, sentiment analysis and content moderation. By combining cloud and edge architectures, the pipeline can achieve high availability, scalability, resource efficiency and low latency.
After the development shared as Theta official blog post, a sudden movement began in the THETA altcoin price and the price rose from $ 0.63 to $ 0.685. At the time of this writing, the price of the token is trading at $0.653.
Theta and Google Cloud have been collaborating since 2020, when Theta became a Google Cloud Technology Partner and made the Guardian Node network available on the Google Cloud Marketplace.
