These Six Billionaires Owe Their Fortune to Bitcoin!

The increasing popularity of cryptocurrencies has attracted many people to the crypto market, and some of those who invested in crypto have rapidly increased their wealth.

At this point, London-based investment consultancy company Henley & Partners analyzed cryptocurrency investors.

Henley & Partners, which recently published its crypto wealth report, reported that 425 million people worldwide currently invest in cryptocurrencies.

While the report stated that 88,200 people had at least $1 million worth of cryptocurrency, it was stated that this figure was less than 1% of overall crypto users.

It was stated that approximately 40,500 of these people invested in Bitcoin.

Additionally, the report noted that 182 people own more than $100 million in cryptocurrencies, and 78 of these 182 people own BTC.

In addition to these results, it was stated that there were 22 cryptocurrency investors with a wealth of more than 1 billion dollars, and 6 of these 22 people obtained their wealth from Bitcoin investments.

It was seen that Henley & Partners' report did not provide any details regarding the names of crypto millionaires and billionaires.

According to the “Crypto Adoption Index”, which shows cryptocurrency adoption in countries, Singapore ranked highest with 50.2 points out of 60, corresponding to 83.76%, while Switzerland ranked second with 78.17% and the United Arab Emirates ranked third with 76.17%. Hong Kong ranked fourth with 76%, USA ranked fifth with 73.83%, and Australia ranked sixth with 71.83%.

Turkey ranked 24th with 45.83%.

Evaluating the report, Henley & Partners CEO Dr. Juerg Steffen said:

“Governments are rapidly formulating new regulations to adapt to the evolving landscape of cryptocurrencies.

Over the last 6 months, there has been a significant increase in requests from crypto millionaires. “These individuals are collectively trying to create a practical 'Plan B' as a safeguard against the possibility of cryptocurrency trading or use being banned in their countries in the future.”
