The Aptos blockchain network unexpectedly experienced a long outage lasting more than four hours. AptoScan, the block explorer for this Move language-based blockchain, shows that transactions on the chain stopped at block 104621314.
There was an outage in the Aptos Network, Exchanges Suspended Transactions
Major cryptocurrency exchanges, including Upbit and OKX, have temporarily suspended Aptos (APT) deposits and withdrawals in response to this outage.
Aptos immediately issued a statement on the issue, saying “transactions on the network have been affected. We are working diligently to resolve the issue and will keep you informed when it is completed.”
With this statement, Aptos tried to reassure its users that efforts are continuing to fix the problem and return the network to normal.
