The World Economic Forum Has Changed Its Thoughts About Bitcoin!

In its previous statements, the World Economic Forum (WEF), which has a negative attitude towards Bitcoin mining and BTC due to the use of high energy in Bitcoin (BTC) mining and its negative environmental effects, turned away from this thought.

The WEF surprised everyone by making statements in a recently released video that cryptocurrency markets and Bitcoin mining could have economic and environmental benefits.

Defending that Bitcoin mining can cause a significant decrease in greenhouse gas emissions, WEF underlined that this decrease may occur if the transition to renewable energy sources is used.

Explaining his views in the WEF video, Chase Lochmiller, CEO of crypto currency mining company Crusoe Energy, stated that the negative impact of greenhouse gas emissions on the environment can be reduced by deploying crypto mining centers where waste energy sources are located.

WEF's video was noticed and welcomed by many Bitcoin and cryptocurrency supporters.

One of them was Michael Saylor, co-founder of MicroStrategy. Saylor shared on his Twitter account that he acknowledged the environmental benefits of BTC mining in the WEF video.

“Even the WEF acknowledges the environmental benefits of Bitcoin mining,” Saylor shared. said.

Apart from Saylor, experts commenting on the WEF's change of opinion stated that while the environmental discussions of Bitcoin mining continue, WEF's approach to BTC mining with an environmentally friendly approach was revealed as an innovative solution to the climate crisis concerns.
