The wallet still contains approximately $15 million worth of crypto assets, including Dent, Chromia, Celer Network and Frontier tokens.

The WazirX attack, which occurred on Thursday, targeted the exchange's multisig wallet on the Ethereum network.

The attack led to the theft of more than 200 different crypto assets, including Shiba Inu, Ethereum, Polygon, and PePe memecoin.

In response, WazirX halted all withdrawals and acknowledged the security breach, calling the incident an “emergency” beyond its control.

Adding to the complexity of the situation, blockchain analysis firm Elliptic published a report stating that on-chain data showed that the attack was carried out by hackers affiliated with North Korea.
