The Date for the Major Upgrade in This Altcoin Has Been Announced: The Price Reacted!

In their latest post, the Layer-1 blockchain network Mina (MINA) team announced that the devnet upgrade before the Berkeley upgrade, which will bring ZK programmability and other key features, will take place on April 9.

Stating that this devnet upgrade is very important for MINA, the team shared the following statements:

“April 9: Devnet upgrade day! Operators should be prepared to migrate their nodes to Berkeley versions.

The focus of the last three weeks has been to ensure that the scripts and archive node migration tools are rock solid and that archive node data migration occurs quickly.

Teams are also conducting various end-to-end simulations of Devnet and mainnet upgrades, focusing on planning and preparation for different migration scenarios. Because of these tests, ecosystem partners will be ready to quickly troubleshoot and assist if an unexpected issue arises during upgrade processes.

Timelines for the mainnet upgrade depend on the results of the Devnet upgrade and the necessary improvements discovered. “We know it can be frustrating not to have concrete dates shared, but we need your feedback on the Devnet upgrade so we can accurately estimate mainnet upgrade timelines.”

After the announcement, MINA price started to rise.
