There was a reflection of some false news on Tesla side yesterday.
Some sources said that Bitcoin and Dogecoin were added to the source code of Tesla's payment page, causing fake excitement among investors. As we do not share unconfirmed news in accordance with our publishing principles, we did not convey this news to you.
Later, it was seen that these source codes were added to Tesla's checkout page before January 2023. This revealed that Tesla did not delete these codes after it stopped receiving payments with Bitcoin. In summary, there was no new situation regarding Tesla's receiving payments with Bitcoin.
However, after these false news, a move came from Tesla. Tesla checkout page deleted Bitcoin from their source code. At this point, it was noteworthy that Dogecoin was not deleted.
Tesla already sells some accessory products for Dogecoin payment. Not deleting Dogecoin from the checkout page could be related to this.
