OKX, the second largest cryptocurrency exchange according to market watch sites, conducted a survey for Ethereum, whose Shanghai upgrade is approaching. The report released yesterday revealed the surprising expectations of ETH investors.
Investors Are Overly Confident In Ethereum
According to the research report published by OKX, participants have high expectations for Ethereum. The giant exchange asked 700 different crypto lovers about their predictions about the future during the ETH Denver event.
83% of the sample believe that the amount of ETH staked will continue to increase over the next three months. The Shanghai update, which is expected to be released on April 12, will allow staked ETH tokens to be withdrawn.
The predictions of crypto money investors about the price of Ethereum are also quite surprising. 63% of the investors surveyed stated that ETH will reach $5,000 by the end of the year. A third of the sample predicts that the cryptocurrency will stay in the $2,000-3,000 range.
ETH, which has attracted attention especially with its attack above $ 1900 in recent days, could not continue its rise and made other altcoins move downwards.
