Having reached an end to its legal battle with the SEC, Ripple continues to expand outside the US and strengthen its global presence.
At this point, Ripple has formed an important new partnership with Japanese financial giant SBI Holding in order to expand and strengthen its presence in Asia.
Accordingly, crypto payments firm Ripple and Japanese financial giant SBI Holdings announced a strategic partnership with its subsidiary SBI Digital Community Co.
Under the partnership, SBI Digital Community will help increase the usage of XRP Ledger and issue non-fungible tokens (NFTs) on the blockchain, increasing the adoption of XRP in the community.
“Through this strategic alliance, we will increase the opportunities for individual users to use XRP Ledger through the “Bto3 Web3 community” operated by the SBI Digital Community and work to popularize XRP Ledger.”
SBI, a long-time Ripple partner, added that it plans to showcase Ripple and XRP at the 2025 World Expo, further solidifying its commitment to this partnership.
My announced partnership had little impact on the XRP price, as it is up only 1% in the last 24 hours and is trading at $0.57.
