A Bitcoin (BTC) whale known with the address 1LH1dY…yuztTz unexpectedly made a significant move after three years of sleep.
Today, Whale made a remarkable transfer of 5,000 BTC worth approximately $137 million.
In the transaction, 4,000 BTC was transferred to a new address named bc1q5r…40g22c, while 1,000 BTC was moved to another new address named 34aed6…byHr8D. Neither of these addresses had ever been labeled as belonging to anyone before.
Interestingly, the first transfer of 5,000 BTC was made from the Poolin mining pool on June 23, 2020. After this latest activity, the whale was left with only $35.62 worth of BTC.
When the cryptocurrency wallets from which the whale transfers are examined, it is seen that no other activity is observed from the new wallet with 4,000 BTC as of this writing.
In addition, the cryptocurrency wallet to which 1,000 BTC was sent transferred all of these coins to 3 different addresses. The wallet with 825 BTC, which has the largest share of these addresses, made many more transactions and minutes ago transferred $21 million worth of BTC to the address bc1qclht9wcq…s04x36m.
