Second Indictment Held Against Faruk Fatih Özer, CEO of Cryptocurrency Exchange Thodex! Here is the Desired Punishment!

The second investigation into the cryptocurrency exchange Thodex, which left thousands of victims behind with its 356 million profit, has been completed.

In the indictment, up to 11 thousand 462 years in prison was requested for Faruk Fatih Özer, the founder of Thodex exchange.

According to AA news, the second investigation file initiated by the Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against 21 people, including Faruk Fatih Özer, has been completed.

In the indictment prepared as a result of the investigation, Fatih Faruk Özer and 7 suspects were listed as organization managers and 13 suspects were listed as organization members.

According to the Financial Crimes Investigation Board (MASAK) report included in the indictment, the damage to the victims was reported to be 94 million TL.

In the indictment, it was requested that Faruk Fatih Özer be sentenced to a total of up to 11 thousand 462 years in prison for the crimes of “laundering assets resulting from crime”, “qualified fraud” and “establishing and managing an organization”.

The indictment, which requested prison sentences of varying periods for similar crimes against other suspects, was sent to the high criminal court for evaluation.
