Patrick McHenry, chairman of the Financial Services Committee, who is a supporter of BTC and crypto, said that SEC Chairman Gary Gensler will testify before the House Financial Services Committee and will have to face questions from Congress about his approach to cryptocurrencies.
Today's session will be followed closely by crypto investors as Bitcoin continues to trade at the $30,000 limit.
The session will discuss the regulatory role of the SEC on cryptocurrencies and the SEC's approach to cryptocurrencies.
The session is expected to start at 17:00 Turkish time.
Gensler is expected to talk about cryptocurrency exchanges, lawsuits, bankruptcy crypto entities, crypto fraud, crypto-securities relationship, stablecoins, and threats of lawsuits sent to exchanges.
