The new altcoin Libra (LIBRA), which has taken the market by storm with fraud and rug pull allegations, continues to be at the center of discussions.
While Argentine President Javier Milei's support for LIBRA took the events to a different dimension, a new move came from CZ.
Accordingly, Zhao Changpeng (CZ), founder and former CEO of the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange Binance, will donate 150 BNB to LIBRA victims.
CZ X also stated that he will donate 150 BNB ($100,000) to support users affected by the price drop of the LIBRA token.
This token was allegedly a rug pull. The token was once introduced on X by Argentine president Javier Milei, but he later deleted his post, stating that he did not fully understand the details of the project.
CZ’s move came in response to an announcement by university student EnHeng, who accepted donations through her BSC address and decided to donate $50,000 to support LIBRA victims.
“Today, the Argentine President's circulation of Rug money hurt many people. As a university student, I know what this kind of coup is like.
I have donated $50,000 to help affected friends and have started accepting donations through the BSC address to support everyone.
This aid is for all victims and priority is given to university students.”
