Bitcoin and cryptocurrency markets entered the weekend in the red zone with a sudden decline caused by the FED.
Cryptocurrency analysis company Santiment, in its statement, identified the two altcoins that ranked highest in terms of social volume by frequently mentioning their names on social media platforms even during this decline.
According to the new report published by analysts, Tether (USDT) and Toncoin (TON) became the two most talked about altcoins on social media platforms, while the cryptocurrency market showed a slight recovery from the sudden drop in which the Bitcoin price dropped to $ 65,000.
Santiment attributed the surge in popularity of Tether, a stablecoin, to increased usage on Binance and other cryptocurrency exchanges as the market fell.
On the other hand, as the reason for the popularity of Toncoin, the analysis company shows the price rising above $ 8 and TapSwap, which will be released soon on the TON blockchain.
With the increase in the price of Toncoin, there was also an increase in the price of Notcoin (NOT), a popular altcoin from the same ecosystem.
