The increasing popularity of Bitcoin (BTC) and cryptocurrencies has also led fraudsters to this sector.
In this context, these days, when we constantly hear about new cryptocurrency fraud news, Blockchain researcher ZachXBT said that there was a rug pull case in the Solana-based mem token URF.
Accordingly, ZachZBT said that the URF team disappeared with approximately 2,400 Solana ($450,000) they collected from the URF pre-sale.
Influencer @BryceHall made multiple posts promoting a sketchy Solana presale for a meme coin called URF helping them raise ~2400 SOL ($450k).
The team disappeared less than 24 hrs after launch and social media accounts have had zero activity since March 26.

ZachXBT also said URF was promoted by American boxer Bryce Hall.
Following this news, the URF price dropped sharply by around 95%.
