Ripple Co-Founder Announces His Supporting Presidential Candidate, Surprising the Election!

With only a short time left until the US presidential elections, which are of critical importance for Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, some of the important names in the cryptocurrency sector support Donald Trump and some support Kamala Harris.

Trump draws attention with his pro-BTC and pro-crypto statements, while Harris draws attention with her anti-crypto stance.

Ripple co-founder Chris Larsen and 88 other business leaders have signed a joint letter supporting US Vice President Kamala Harris for president, CNBC reported.

It was stated that among the important names who signed the letter supporting Harris were Aaron Levie, co-founder and CEO of enterprise cloud company Box, Yelp CEO Jeremy Stoppelman, Snap president Michael Lynton, and former 21st Century Fox CEO James Murdoch.

Former Ripple Member Also Announced His Support for Harris!

Earlier in August, former Ripple board member Gene Sperling left the White House to join Kamala Harris' presidential campaign.

Sperling has also served as an economic advisor to Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama since joining Ripple's board in 2015. He also served in the Joe Biden administration as of 2021.

Ripple is one of several companies that have backed Harris over Trump, while Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse has previously stated that Gary Gensler will not continue as SEC chair no matter who is elected.
