While Bitcoin continues its horizontal movements at $ 36,500 before the inflation data from the USA, some altcoins attract attention with their tremendous rises.
One of these altcoins was the Reddit token Moons (MOON).
As you may remember, Reddit announced in October that it would close its nearly three-year-old blockchain-based Community Points program on November 8. This news caused MOON and other Reddit tokens Bricks (BRICK) and Donuts (DONUT) to experience major declines.
However, MOON has increased by more than 170% in the last 24 hours. According to Coindesk, behind this rise was the news that some community moderators came together to revive the project and continue it independently.
MOON community moderator account u/CryptoMods said in a statement: “We have received a solid response and are excited to begin building the future of Moons together as a community. At this point, we are planning a number of developments that can add value to MOON tokens in the coming months.” said.
MOON price, which is currently actively traded on cryptocurrency exchange Kraken and decentralized exchange SushiSwap, has increased by approximately 170% in the last 24 hours, according to CoinMarketCap data. MOON continues to trade at $0.1413 at the time of writing.
