While security experts warned that Compound Finance's (COMP) website was inaccessible and that Compound Finance's site may have been hacked, blockchain security platform PeckShieldAlert confirmed this.
Quoting Compound DAO security consultant Michael Lewellen's post, PeckshieldAlert warned users.
“The Compound site has been compromised. Do not interact with the website until further notice.”

” The compound.finance site has been compromised and is currently hosting a phishing site. DO NOT interact with the compound.finance website until further notice.
The compound protocol itself is unaffected and all smart contract funds are safe.”
