Polygon Becomes Second Largest Gaming Blockchain Network!

Network activity continues to increase with each passing week on Polygon, the Ethereum layer-2 solution ecosystem. According to the latest data, Polygon has achieved the title of being the second largest platform in terms of blockchain games.

DAppRadar, which monitors and analyzes decentralized applications, recently published a research report. Statistics compiled by the blockchain follower revealed that the number of wallets dealing with games on the Polygon network increased by 53% throughout March, reaching a total of 138,000.

Among the top 5 networks that are leaders in the field of blockchain games, the growth momentum continued only in Polygon. Polygon thus moved to second place where Hive had previously been.

Taken as a whole, DAppRadar researchers found that blockchain gaming activity dropped by 3.3%. However, games alone account for almost half of decentralized application activity.

Crypto experts shared the following note after their report:

"Polygon used to be an ecosystem that stood out for decentralized finance (DeFi). But today we're seeing it gaining recognition as a gaming network."
