Phenomenon Accused of Human Trafficking and Rape Requested to Seize Bitcoins!

An indictment was filed in Romania against Andrew Tate, known as an Instagram phenomenon and kickboxer.

Romanian prosecutors filed charges against Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan Tate for rape and human trafficking, while also demanding the confiscation of their assets, including Bitcoin (BTC).

In this context, prosecutors demanded the confiscation of 15 properties, 15 luxury cars, 14 hours and 21 Bitcoins worth $560,000.

In addition to Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan Tate, who are all facing the same charges, the indictment also includes two of his colleagues.

The Romanian Organized Crime and Terrorism Investigation Directorate made the following statements in its statement:

"… In the case, it was noted that at the beginning of 2021, the four defendants named formed an organized crime group with the aim of committing human trafficking on Romanian territory, as well as in other countries such as the United States.

15 lands and buildings in Ilfov, Prahova and Braşov districts, 15 luxury cars, 14 luxury watches, 2 gold bars and a medal, social shares owned by 4 commercial companies, 86,580 lei, 52,650 euro, 17,430 USD and 10,370 in crypto wallets Pounds and 21,080,508 BTC (approximately 384,904,789 USD) were requested to be confiscated."

Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan Tate, who were arrested in December 2022, have been under house arrest since March.
