While the use of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies is increasing day by day, the amount of lost BTC is also increasing.
At this point, on-chain data platforms Glassnode and IntoTheBlock shared how much of the approximately 19 million Bitcoins that have been mined so far have been lost.
“Our data shows that 29% of BTC has not moved in 5 years. A large part of this is likely to be related to lost coins,” IntoTheBlock wrote. said.

Apart from IntoTheBlock, Glassnode also made a post on this subject. Stating that the number of long-held or lost Bitcoins has reached the highest level in the last 5 years, Glassnode said that the number of lost BTC reached 7,781,224,168.
