The latest version of Bitcoin Core, the software that powers the Bitcoin (BTC) network, is available for download.
Bitcoin Core 25.0 includes new features, various bug fixes and performance improvements.

This was reportedly introduced in order to better reflect the actual protections against a vulnerability discovered in 2017 and to enable additional use cases that smaller transaction sizes will provide.
