According to Bloomberg, US District Judge Richard A. Jones ruled that CZ, the founder and former CEO of Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, should notify the country's travel court and surrender his passport.
With its latest decision, the court further restricted CZ's bail conditions. The court also reminded that CZ cannot leave the USA before a decision is made about him.
As you may recall, CZ pleaded guilty to violating US anti-money laundering measures in November. With this admission, CZ faced up to 18 months in prison. At this point, CZ's sentence is planned to be given in April.
