Crypto wallet service provider Ledger has announced that it has partnered with global payments giant PayPal.
Ledger said in a statement that users can purchase crypto via PayPal accounts on the Ledger Live app.
Thanks to the integration between PayPal and Ledger, PayPal users in the US will be able to buy Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and Litecoin (LTC) directly through Ledger Live.
Because Ledger Live currently offers four cryptocurrencies in the US, including BTC, ETH, BCH and LTC.
Ledger CEO Pascal Gaithier said in a statement:
“We combine Ledger's uncompromised security with PayPal's leadership in protected payment technology to help facilitate a seamless platform for user crypto transactions.
Ledger is committed to simplifying the crypto world, and PayPal is committed to making money movement as simple, reliable and affordable as possible.”
Ledger Live previously allowed users to purchase crypto through partners MoonPay, Transak, Ramp, Simplex, Loopipay and Mercuryo.
PayPal joined these companies with a new partnership.
