Altcoin IOTA, listed on Binance, announced its new fund.
According to Coindesk news, IOTA Foundation will allocate $10 million in funds to startups in the UAE and Africa.
In the statement, the IOTA Foundation said that it is preparing to make its first series of investments by allocating $ 10 million to early-stage startups focusing on digital trading and tokenization of real-world assets (RWA).
While it was stated that the projects in which investments will be made will be announced to the public in the coming weeks, Dominik Schiener, co-founder of IOTA and president of the IOTA Foundation, said:
“By investing in the future of TradeTech, we are not only facilitating smoother trading transactions.
“With this fund, we are laying the foundation for a more connected and efficient global trade ecosystem.”
IOTA increased by up to 5% after the news.
